“I’m not a rubber stamp governor”: Tamilisai

All is not well between Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. This got evident when the Telangana governor went to Delhi to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah regarding this. At that time, she spoke that everything is fine between them and she is not a controversial person.

Recently, at a private event in Tamil Nadu, Tamilisai has brought the Telangana state issue once again. She said that Telangana is a perfect example to show everyone who the rule will be if CM and the governor couldn’t work together. “After my trip to Delhi, there are speculations that I will be moved from Telangana. I am not going anywhere,” she clarified.

Tamilisai has also clarified that it is not easy to work with KCR. “It is very challenging to work with him. I am a governor for two states and both the CMs are entirely different. CM KCR has got angry that his MLC recommendations were not fulfilled by me. I am saying it again. I’m not a rubber stamp governor. CMs should not behave like dictators,” she said.

It will be interesting to see how KCR and TRS react to these comments.
