Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Narayanaswamy has asked the Reddy community to be on the same page. Speaking in a meeting he said, “We have given the power to Reddy community. Don’t destroy it. I have seen that the community is not united. There are internal fights. If you don’t stay united, the power might go back to Chandrababu. That shouldn’t happen.”
The comments are made at a friendly meeting arranged in Vijayawada by Gyanendra Reddy, who has been recently appointed as advisor to the government on foreign and expatriate affairs.
The irony here is that Narayanaswamy is not a Reddy but a Dalit. Gyanendra Reddy, on the other hand, served as an MP three times in the Congress government. Jagan has appointed him as an advisor. There is criticism that Jagan has been only accomodating nominated posts to the Reddy community.
