Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy. The Minister has started his budget speech with the sayings of Thiruvalluvar, prominently known as Valluvar, a celebrated Tamil poet and philosopher. In between his speech, Buggana has recited the poems of Gurazada Appa Rao and Sri Sri.
During his speech, Buggana has said about the effective implementation of welfare schemes and clarified that the allocations for the development of backward classes have been doubled. Buggana said that facing Corona YS Jagan-led government has effectively delivered welfare benefits to the people.
Buggana Rajendhranath Reddy has announced that the total estimated expenditure of the year 2022-23 is at Rs 2,56,256 Crore. Here is the breakdown of the expenditures:
Revenue Expenditure: Rs. 2,08, 261 Crore
Capital Expenditure: Rs. 47,996 Crore
Revenue deficit: Rs. 17,036 Crore
Fiscal deficit: Rs. 48,724 Crore
