KCR’s counter strike to Jagan: sanctions 3 DA’s

It is very well known that Andhra Pradesh’s government employees are not very happy with the decision of Jagan to cut the allowances from the salaries of the employees. Apart from the HRA, there is a cut in the fitment as well. While the AP government employees are thinking to go against the government, their counterparts are happy souls.

Their Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao has sanctioned 3 DA’s pending from January 1, 2020, July 1, 2020, and January 1, 2021. Not only clearing the pending DA’s, but KCR has also given a rise in the DA from 7.28 percent of basic pay to 17.29 percent with monetary benefit from July 1, 2021. These benefits are for both the employees and the pensioners as well.

The previous DA arrears will be credited to the GPF accounts of the employees and pensioners. This move is indirectly a counter strike to YS Jagan. It will be interesting to see how he will face this.
