Delhi Liquor Policy Case: Kavitha responds to ED summons – “Will seek legal opinion”

Telangana MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha who is also the daughter of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has responded to the summons she received from ED in connection to the Delhi Liquor Policy Case. Kavitha said that she will fully cooperate with the investigation agencies as a law-abiding citizen.

She released a statement in which she said, “I have been summoned by ED to appear on March 9th in Delhi. As a law-abiding citizen, I’ll fully cooperate with investigation agencies. However, due to the Dharna & prefixed appointments, I’ll see legal opinions on the date of attending it.”

Kavitha said that these tactics of intimidation against the fight and voice of our leader, CM Shri KCR, and against the entire BRS party will not deter us. “Under the leadership of Chief Minister KCR, the BRS will continue to fight to expose the BJP’s failures and raise its voice for a brighter and better future for India,” she added.

It is known that Kavitha is staging a protest in New Delhi in demand of the Women’s reservation bill on March 10th.
