Nara Chandrababu Naidu is fighting in courts for justice. He was arrested 23 days back in the Skill Development Scam and is sent for judicial remand. He is currently in Rajahmundry Central Prison serving remand time. Today, the bail petition by Chandrababu Naidu in the ACB court came to a hearing. The lawyers representing CBN questioned the need for custody when there was no proof in this case of his involvement.
Popular media channel ABN reported that the judge fired on CID lawyers regarding this case. “If there are scams in government-run schemes, who will take the responsibility? The HODs or the Chief Minister?” reportedly the judge questioned the lawyers from the CID side.
The case was adjourned for tomorrow and the TDP cadre is waiting for the right decision to be made. In another interesting development, AP CID today made it clear that Nara Lokesh is not an accused in the Fiber Net Scam. Even if he will be issued notices in this case, it will be of 41A which doesn’t require notices.
