Over the past few days, Ex-MP YS Vivekananda Reddy’s murder case has seen new twists and turns. The political heat increased in the state after Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy’s father Bhaskar Reddy has been arrested and sent to judicial custody.
Now, Avinash Reddy has been summoned by the CBI to attend for questioning. The MP has already been questioned four times related to the YS Viveka’s murder case. Today, at 3 PM he will be attending the CBI questioning in Hyderabad. Interestingly, this time he was summoned as accused. CBI states Bhaskar Reddy as A1 in the murder case and Avinash Reddy as A2.
But before that, Avinash Reddy filed for anticipatory bail in Telangana High Court. The Chief Justice bench allowed the anticipatory bail petition. The hearing will happen at 2:30 PM. This is not the first time that Avinash Reddy filed for anticipatory bail. A few months back, he predicted CBI might arrest and applied for bail but that didn’t happen last time.
