BJP MLA T. Raja Singh was taken into custody by the Hyderabad Police after his controversial remarks against Prophet Mohammad turned into a rage. MIM leaders and others have lodged against Raja Singh and even started protesting outside South Zone DCP office in Hyderabad.
Earlier, an FIR has been registered against Raja Singh following the complaints under Section 153 (A) (Promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion); 295 (A) (Making comments in words or in writing with the deliberate and malicious intention of outraging the religious feelings of any class), 505 (1) (B) (C) (making statements that incite communal violence), 505 (2) (making statements to create enmity and hatred between classes) and 506 (criminal intimidation).
Security has been tightened in various sensitive parts of Hyderabad. Police officials are carefully monitoring the situation in the city. BJP leaders haven’t yet responded following the arrests of BJP leaders Raja Singh and Bandi Sanjay in different cases.
