The first phase of the Gujarat Assembly elections will be held on December 1st. A total of 788 candidates are competing in the first phase for the 89 assembly constituencies across 19 districts of the south Gujarat and Kutch-Saurashtra regions. It is going to be a triangle war in Gujarat with BJP, Congress, and AAP competing for a win.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal expressed confidence that his party will win more than 92 seats among the total 182 seats in Gujarat. “AAP has a huge craze among women and youth in Gujarat,” claimed Kejriwal. Home Minister Amit Shah on the other hand is sure that BJP will form the government once again in Gujarat. He stated that there is no threat from AAP and it might not even win one assembly constituency.
“Still, Congress is the main opposition but it is facing crisis across the country,” he stated.
Keeping these statements aside, everything is all set for the first phase of the elections.
