According to the reports, Norway granted a total of 13,214 visitor visas to them from January until October this year. The Norwegian Directorate of Immigration (UDI) reveals that the number of granted visas has increased at a notable length with each passing month from January to June. In June, a massive 2,368 visitor visas were granted to the Indians. Norway granted a total of 47,917 visitor visas from January to October and Indians benefited the most from them.
A visitor’s visa allows one to stay in Norway or other countries in the Schengen area for up to 90 days over a period of 180 days. The processing time for visitor visas is around 15 to 30 days. However, one can reduce this time by applying six months in advance.
While the visa cost is free for children under six years, it cost Rs 6,700 for adults and Rs 3252 for children between 6-11 years.
