The Canadian government has given very good news for US H1-B Visa holders. Canada’s Immigration Minister, Sean Fraser, on Tuesday, announced a new work permit stream that will allow the 10,000 American H-1B visa holders to work in Canada. This program will also allow the family members of H1-B visa holders to study or work permits. The approved applicants under the new program will receive an open work permit duration of up to three years.
In the official release, Canada’s Ministry of Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship said the approved applicant will be able to work for any employer in Canada. Their spouses, and family members will also be eligible to apply for a temporary resident visa with a work or study permit.
As per the reports, Fraser that the Canadian government is currently developing an immigration stream that will allow the world’s most talented people to come to Canada for work irrespective of having a job or not.
