International flight passengers need to take note that International departures will be moved to the main terminal. The RGIA authorities have announced that the passengers who are bound to board international flights will be sent to the main terminal. Earlier, there were separate terminals for domestic and international departures. A temporary international departure was put in place to manage the rush of passengers.
Producers like Check-in, security, immigration, and customs checks were conducted there. But from November 28th international passengers will be sent to the main terminal. The expansion work is currently undergoing at the airport and is expected to be completed by 2023.
It is estimated that the airport is likely to witness 3.4 crore passengers annually after the expansion.
