Chandrababu Naidu’s bail petition was adjourned to November 22nd

The Andhra Pradesh High Court today adjourned Naidu’s bail petition to November 22nd. This anticipatory bail petition was related to the Inner Ring Road alleged scam in Amaravathi. TDP Chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu, General Secretary Nara Lokesh, the then Minister Narayana, and a few of the relatives and close circle of the Minister were included in the case.

It was alleged that the Inner Ring Road was aligned such that Lingamaneni Ramesh and Heritage Foods would benefit from it. The case was filed by AP CID alleging that Chandrababu did a favor to both the parties changing the alignment such that the Inner Ring Road comes closer to their properties.

Naidu filed anticipatory bail in this case. However, Advocate General Sriram stated to the court that no action would be taken against Chandrababu Naidu as he in bail on medical grounds. The High Court posted the case to November 22nd. Also, Naidu filed a bail petition in the free sand scam that was registered by AP CID last week. The court admitted the case and it will likely be heard very soon.
