The Indian government is making special arrangements at a rapid pace to bring the Indian students and they have started the initiative Operation Ganga. India has started the process to bring back the Indians from the Ukrainian border. Already 4,000 students have been relocated to India and 10,000 students will be brought back very soon.
Indian students in Ukraine are being transported across the Ukrainian border to places like Romania, Belarus, and Poland. From there they are brought to India on special flights. The program continues under the name Operation Ganga. Those trapped in Ukraine are being brought to safety.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has stepped in to help the students and has sent 4 Union ministers to the Ukrainian border. The students are either brought back to Mumbai or Delhi. From there, they are being sent to their home states.
