Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni faced criticism for taking her 6-year-old daughter Ginevra to the G20 Summit. In the newly concluded G20 Summit in Bali, Indonesia, Georgia Meloni is the only female Prime Minister. In fact, she is the first Italian woman to serve as the country’s Prime Minister.

The controversy erupted after an article in La Stampa newspaper criticized her for taking her daughter to the Summit while factory workers won’t take their kids to the factory or any other job.

However, Giorgia Meloni hit back at the criticism she faced. Georgia posted on her Facebook which reads, “On my way home from two days of incessant work to best represent Italy at the G20 in Bali, I stumbled upon an incredible debate over whether it was right to take my daughter with me while I was away for four days. The question for the animators of this passionate discussion is: So do you think how my daughter should grow up should be your business? Because I give you the news: it’s not.
