The Andhra Pradesh assembly sessions started on an interesting note. There has been a lot of political action after the budget sessions have started. It is the interim budget as the elections are approaching fast in a couple of months. The state’s governor opened the session and in his speech, he praised the YSR Congress government for the reforms the government brought in various aspects such as education, irrigation, and public welfare schemes.

The opposition Telugu Desam Party was quite disappointed with this speech and started to walk out even when the Governor continued his speech. TDP leaders started raising the slogan, “Bye Bye Jagan” while they walked out.

The opposition party leaders stated that the Governor’s speech was only to satisfy the ego of the government but didn’t have any facts. The TDP leaders questioned Jagan on the job calendar and special category status. Nandamuri Balakrishna led the TDP troop and held the placard, Andhra Pradesh lo Araachaka Paalana.
