Sree Vishnu who does content-based movies has picked a comedy entertainer this time. Samajavaragamana impressed everyone with its promos. Now, we have to see how it impressed the audiences in the theaters.

Story:

Bala Subramanyam (Sree Vishnu) works at a popular multiplex in Hyderabad. His father Uma Maheshwara Rao (Naresh) works hard to complete his degree. He needs to inherit ancestral property. He meets Sarayu (Reba Monica John) at an exam hall and after a few scenes, she ends up being a paying guest in Uma’s house. She falls for Bala Subramanyam and he reciprocates the same.

However, there is a major twist in store about Sarayu’s family. What happens next is the crux of the story.

Performances:

Sree Vishnu has great comedy timing. We have seen this aspect in many movies before and this time, he excelled in this genre. Sree Vishnu is too good in the role. He carried the whole film on his shoulders. He shares great chemistry with Naresh. The combination of scenes of Sree Vishnu and Naresh worked out well.

Reba Monica John is impressive in her role. She plays her part well. She has good dancing skills as well. Naresh Vijaya Krishna and Srikanth Iyengar perform well in their roles. The remaining cast has performed well.

Technicalities:

Ram Abbaraju who debuted as the director with Vivaha Bhojanambu has worked quite well for Samajavaragamana. He made sure that there are no boring moments whatsoever in the entire narration. The first half is hilarious and the second half has some dull moments but that was covered up later. He extracted good comedy from performers like Sree Vishnu, Naresh, Vennela Kishore, etc.,

The cinematography is decent. Songs by Gopi Sundar are average. However, he composed a nice BGM to elevate scenes. The editing is neat. The production values are good.

Analysis:

Samajavaragamana is a decent comedy entertainer. The entire first half is a paisa vasool. The interval block gives us a good twist. Though the second half goes down at some times, the film already impresses us. Overall, the movie can be watched once for the comedy part.

Rating: 3/5
