HanuMan had a fantabulous first week at the box office. Started as a very small film with only four single screens given to it on the opening day in Hyderabad, the film has touched Rs. 150 Crores after the first week. HanuMan had its premiers from evenings on January 11th and this proved up to be a killer move. The positive talk spread like a wildfire. From the premiers, HanuMan collected Rs. 23 Crores gross and there is no looking back for the movie since then.
HanuMan is excellent in the Telugu States and Overseas. The movie has crossed the lifetime collections of Ala Vaikunthapurramulo in Overseas in just 8 days and has entered the top-5 grossers of the Telugu Cinema. This is an outstanding achievement. In Hindi, the film is gaining from strength to strength. It will end up around Rs. 75 Crores Nett mark if the movie continues the trend.
Directed by Prashant Varma, Teja Sajja is the lead hero in the movie.
