For this Sankranthi season, five films have been announced for releases. However, Telugu Film Chamber approached the filmmakers of these five movies. Eagle is one of the movie that was scheduled for Sankranthi but eventually the film was postponed owing to the request of the Film Chamber.
Eagle was postponed to February 9th and the producers were promised a solo release. However, looks like the request has not been fulfilled as many movies have announced their release dates for February 9th. Rajinikanth’s Lal Salaam, Sundeep Kishan’s Oori Peru Bhairavakona, Yatra 2 were announced for the same weekend.
So, the producers of Eagle have now approached the Film Chamber reminding of their solo release promise. “I trust this letter finds you well. I am writing to formally address a matter of significance concerning the release of the movie “Eagle” initially scheduled for the 13th of January 2024 in theatres. The chamber conveyed in a meeting and asked us to have one of the producers postpone the movie. Honoring the Chamber’s decision, we postponed the movie’s release date. By taking the assurance from the chamber, we will get a solo date. As the chamber acknowledged in the press meet held by the chamber.
