CPAC Chairman Matt Schlapp has announced that former President Donald Trump will lead the Republican Party no matter what. He revealed that Donald Trump will be the leader of the party till the last breath. Post-January 6th, 2021 riots there have been numerous investigations surrounding the former President. Despite this, he is the leader of the pack.
Donald Trump’s influence is big over the party attendees. At the Conservative Political Action Conference, the leadership echoed across other Republican attendees and many offered praise for Donald Trump.
Schlapp has dismissed the rumors that Trump will not be part of the leadership of the Republican Party in the future following the numerous investigations. “Yes, he will continue to be the leader. I think he will be until he takes his last breath because of everything he did,” Schlapp said. He has also praised Trump for expanding the GOP’s reach.
