Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming film Leo audio event has been canceled. The audio event was scheduled to be conducted on September 30th at Chennai’s Nehru Indoor Stadium but it is now canceled. Vijay is such an actor who conducts only one event to promote his film. He will speak at the audio event and that’s it, there will be no more promotions from his side.
So, Vijay fans eagerly wait for the audio function for their demigod to speak. But now the event has been canceled. Here’s why. It was rumored that the Leo makers have bowed down to political pressure but that’s not the reason.
The production house issued a statement that there is no political angle involved. “Considering overflowing passes requests & safety constraints, we have decided not to conduct the Leo Audio Launch. In respect of the fans’ wishes, we will keep you engaged with frequent updates. P.S. As many would imagine, this is not due to political pressure or any other reasons,” they revealed in the statement.
Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Leo is scheduled for the October 19th release.
