In an interesting move, YCP MP Vijayasai Reddy’s Brother-in-law Gadikota Dwarkanatha Reddy is all set to join the Telugu Desam Party. During his initial days of politics, Dwarkanatha Reddy is from TDP. He won the 1994 elections from the Lakkireddypalle constituency from TDP.
In 1999, he moved to Congress, and from there, he traveled with many other parties but hasn’t contested since. Dwarkanatha Reddy joined YSRCP in 2014 and sought tickets in the 2014 and 2019 elections with no success. After all these years, Dwarkanatha Reddy is now going back to Telugu Desam Party. He is going to wear the yellow scarf in the presence of TDP Chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu.
It is expected that along with Dwarkanatha Reddy, his elder brother and sister Gadikota Surendranatha Reddy and Haremma are also going to join the Telugu Desam Party. Vijayasai Reddy’s Brother-in-law Dwarkanatha Reddy choosing TDP is going to change the dynamics for YCP. It is being speculated that Dwarkanatha Reddy will get the Rayachoti MLA seat from TDP.
