In a shocking turn of events, former MP Boora Narsaiah Goud has decided to leave the party. It comes in as a surprise for the ruling party as well ahead of the Munugode by-polls. Boora Narsaiah Goud expected a by-poll ticket from the TRS party as Komatireddy Venkat Reddy resigned as the MLA. In 2019, he contested against Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and lost by a small margin. So, he anticipated that TRS will give him a ticket and he openly asked the same.

However, TRS fielded Koosukuntla Prabhakar Reddy which would have upset him. However, Narsaiah Goud accompanied Prabhakar Reddy while filing the nomination but the political equations changed in a span of 24 hours. Reportedly, he met T-BJP’s in-charge Tharun Chugh and Bandi Sanjay, and held talks. Narsaiah Goud is in New Delhi now seeking the appointment of Amit Shah.

This will be a huge setback for TRS ahead of the Munugode by-polls as Narsaiah Goud has a considerable BC community vote bank.
