A lot has happened for the last couple of days regarding Salaar distribution in North India. It has been complained that Salaar hasn’t got many theaters in North India as PVR INOX, the largest multiplex chain in India has decided to favor Shahrukh Khan’s Dunki. With this, Salaar makers have decided to pull out their movie from the multiplexes in South India.
This will be a major revenue loss for both the parties and the controversy has now been settled amicably. The bookings of Salaar in these multiplexes online kickstarted a few minutes back.
PVR INOX released an official statement regarding this. “We have come across some speculative media reports about the film Salaar and its release at PVR INOX Cinemas. We would like to clarify that these reports are incorrect, Salaar is one of the most anticipated films of the year and it’s releasing across pan India PVR INOX cinemas on the scheduled release date, i.e December 22nd, 2023,” reads the statement.
