Indian business magnate, the big bull bows out. Jhunjhunwala with a net worth of around $5 billion breathes his last at the age of 62 years. Rakesh Jhunjhunwala is survived by his wife, two sons, and a daughter.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid his condolences. He tweeted, “Rakesh Jhunjhunwala was indomitable. Full of life, witty and insightful, he leaves behind an indelible contribution to the financial world. He was also very passionate about India’s progress. His passing away is saddening. My condolences to his family and admirers. Om Shanti.”
Jhunjhunwala breathed his last at Breach Candy hospital in Mumbai in the early hours. The hospital certified that the cause of death was cardiac arrest.
Born on July 5th, 2020, Rakesh was raised in Mumbai. He is married to Rekha Jhunjunwala, a stock market investor.
