AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi today announced that his party will field 9 candidates for the Telangana polls that happen on November 30th. While speaking to the media a while back, Asaduddin stated that in addition to the current 7 seats in Telangana, his party is also going to contest in Rajendra Nagar and Jubilee Hills. It can be recalled that the Congress party fielded Mohammed Azaruddin in the Jubilee Hills constituency.
Asaduddin’s younger brother Akbaruddin will contest from the Chandrayangutta assembly constituency. The Hyderabad MP stated that he has already appealed to the voters to vote for AIMIM whenever they place the candidates and for the rest of the constituencies to support BRS.
Two sitting MLAs, seniors of the party Ahmed Pasha Quadri and Mumtaz Ahmed Khan from Nampally and Charminar respectively haven’t been given the tickets this time and Owaisi revealed that they will support the party this time.

Malakpet – Ahmed Balala
Yakutpura -Jaffar Hussain
Charminar – Mir Zulfiqar Ali
Karwan- Kausar Mohinuddin
Owaisi revealed that the candidate names for the Bahadurpura, Rajendra Nagar, and Jubilee Hills will be out in the second list.
