Shah Ruklh Khan said no to Don 3, and the lead role went to Ranveer Singh, as we all know. SRK fans were very disappointed with this update, as they couldn’t see King Khan anymore in the role. Well, there is some good news for them all here.
Shah Rukh Khan is going to return as a gritty don, of course not in the Don film series, but with his new upcoming film titled ‘King’. SRK will be seen as a gray-shaded character in this film, as per the latest update from internal sources.
Siddharth Anand is going to direct this film, and the action sequences are being designed currently. The script work is already complete, and Shah Rukh’s character will have both the shades of a cool and a ruthless don in this action thriller.
Shah Rukh Khan will portray a mentor of the dark underworld in King, and his daughter Suhana Khan will play his disciple in the film. This is going to be a debut for Suhana Khan in theaters. King is a very passionate project for Shah Rukh Khan, and so the father-daughter duo is currently busy preparing for the film.
The production schedule for King might start in May 2024, with an expected budget of 200 crores just for the making. The film is aimed at being released in the second half of 2025.
