Naga Chaitanya bags Venky’s project!

Akkineni Naga Chaitanya has bagged yet another project if the speculations are anything to go by. Naga Chaitanya is currently waiting for the release of his next Thank You. He has also completed the shooting of his maiden web series Dootha.

Naga Chaitanya has also recently started the shooting of his next in the direction of Venkat Prabhu. It is a bilingual being made in Telugu and Tamil. The regular shooting started some time ago and is going fine.

He has also given his nod to the Parasuram subject which had to go on the floors 2 years back. The regular shooting will kickstart later this year.

Now, according to the latest update, Naga Chaitanya has bagged another project. Tharun Bhascker has narrated an interesting subject to Victory Venkatesh but the actor didn’t like the script. When Tharun Bhascker narrated yet another story, that is when Venkatesh suggested Naga Chaitanya’s name to the director.

The super combination of Super Star Mahesh Babu and Trivikram Srinivas is going to kickstart next month. It is going to be a hat-trick combination for the duo as their previous projects Athadu and Khaleja are cult classics irrespective of their box office performances. This project is going to be a super profitable venture for the makers.

Haarika and Hassini Creations are going to bankroll the project. Mahesh Babu will not be taking any share in the profits but he is charging Rs. 60 Crores for the project. Trivikram Srinivas will be taking home Rs. 50 Crores. The production is going to cost them around Rs. 90 Crores including the other remunerations.

The theatrical deal will land the producers Rs. 120-150 Crores and the non-theatrical which include satellite, digital, and dubbing rights will fetch them around Rs. 150 Crores. It is going to give Rs. 100 Crores as cushion.

Sekhar Kammula after the super hit Love Story has taken some time off and has announced his next with Tamil star hero Dhanush. It is bilingual and the project was expected to take place very quickly. But, the project was getting delayed. Apart from the announcement, there is not a word from the makers or the director.

Dhanush on the other hand has moved on to his next in the direction of Venky Atluri. The project is titled SIR. The film’s shooting is nearing completion, yet, there is no word about Sekhar Kammula’s film. Dhanush will move to his next film which is a straight Tamil movie. This means that Sekhar Kammula’s film will not hit the floors anytime soon.

The inside sources suggest that Sekhar Kammula is not done with the script work yet. It is a political thriller. It is a Pan India project and Sekhar Kammula is still etching out ideas.
