The trending has been unidirectional since the counting started. The victory is a landslide in Punjab and Uttar Pradesh. While Aam Aadmi Party thumped Congress in Punjab, BJP is all set to retain the power in Uttar Pradesh. The remaining states Manipur, Uttarakhand, Goa have seen BJP leading all the way.

As per the numbers at 7 PM, BJP is leading in 269 seats out of the total 403 seats while SP is limited to 129 seats. BSP and Congress are not even in the frame with leading in 1 and 2 seats respectively.

Coming to Punjab, out of the 117 seats so far, Congress is leading in 18 seats and AAP is going to have power with a lead in 92 constituencies.

BJP will come into power in Uttarakhand by leading in a total of 48 constituencies out of the 70 seats, while Congress is only leading in 18 seats. In Goa, BJP has 20 seats in the lead and the Congress alliance has 11 seats in the lead. Manipur in total has 60 seats. While BJP is leading in 29 constituencies, the Congress alliance has only had a lead in 10 constituencies.
