Nikhil starrer Karthikeya 2 has done the unthinkable. The movie is now a million-dollar baby. Exceeding the expectations in the second weekend as well, Karthikeya 2 has crossed the coveted club. By Sunday at 9:00 PM PST the movie has collected $98,329 from 117 locations. The Sunday collections are higher than the Friday which showcases that the movie is a big hit.
It is Nikhil’s first Million dollar movie. Also, the 9th Telugu film this year. After Major and Sita Ramam, Karthikeya 2 is the third medium-budget flick to achieve the feat. It is a proud moment for Nikhil and his team. The US distributor is going to release the Hindi version of Karthikeya 2 as well.
Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, Karthikeya 2 has Anupama Parameswaran in the female lead role. Kaala Bhairava’s music is another added advantage of the movie. Abhishek Agarwal Arts and People Media Factory have produced Karthikeya 2.
