He is playing a boxer in the movie and Puri Jagannath is the director of it. The duo is repeating their combination. Jana Gana Mana (JGM) is announced a few months back and the regular shooting has started recently.
Even the regular shooting started a few weeks back. Pooja Hegde is the female lead of this project. There are speculations that Vijay Deverakonda and Puri Jagannath are going to team up for the third time straight.
This time, it is said that Puri Jagannath has picked up a socio-fantasy concept along the lines of Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari. This is the first time that Puri Jagannath is attempting this genre. It is going to be a massive budget flick and the initial line is locked already.
