The family members of the veteran actor Chalapathi Rao gave a tearful farewell as the final rites have been completed. The final rites were completed at the Maha Prasthanam, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. Chalapathi Rao’s only son Ravi Babu performed the final rites.
It is known that Chalapathi Rao breathed his last early morning on Sunday but the mortal remains were kept in the freezer as his daughters stay in the USA and they arrived by Tuesday evening. Ravi Babu, speaking to the media said that he had a peaceful death after eating Chicken Biryani and Chicken Curry Saturday night. He died of Cardiac arrest.
D. Producer Suresh Babu, Damodara Prasad, writer Paruchuri Gopala Krishna, directors Boyapati Srinu, Sriwass, Manchu Manoj, actor Gautham Raju, and many cine celebrities attended the funeral. Chalapathi Rao is one of the senior actors in tinsel town. He acted in over 1200 films and his last movie was a film that is being directed by his son.
