“Ustaad Bhagat Singh is being planned for 2024 Sankranthi”: Harish Shankar

Director Harish Shankar opened up about his next movie Ustaad Bhagat Singh. This commercial director has been staying idle for around four years and hasn’t started his next yet. Initially, Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh was the title for this project but it was changed recently to Ustad Bhagat Singh.

The news is now almost confirmed that this project is the remake of the Kollywood blockbuster film Theri. Speaking to a media channel Harish Shankar opened up about this speculation. “Actually, I wanted to announce the details of this project. But now I will not. Some social media enthusiasts have gone overboard, they have crossed the line. I am the one director who is expressive and share details of my projects with fans. But this is not the right way. You have to see yourself onscreen whether the project is a remake of Theri or not,” he said.

Harish Shankar has also confirmed that the project will definitely go on floors in 2023 and hit the screens if everything goes as planned for 2024 Sankranthi.
