Samantha Ruth Prabhas is playing the lead role in the movie Shaakunthalam and the first look poster is out now. Samantha has tweeted, “Presenting… Nature’s beloved… the Ethereal and Demure… “Shakuntala” from #Shaakuntalam.” The movie is based on a small play that is a part of the epic Mahabharatha. It is taken from Kalidasa’s play Abhignana Shaakunthalam. Guna Sekhar has directed the film.
The film’s shooting has been completed last year and the post-production works are going on at a decent pace. Shaakunthalam is scheduled for a release in the second half of 2022. Coming to the first look, Shaakunthalam looks divine. Samantha looks beautiful and like-a goddess who comes directly from heaven.
Malayalam actor Dev Mohan will be seen as Dushyant in the movie. Mani Sharma is composing music for the movie. Gunaa Team Works is producing the film on a large scale and the film will release in five Indian languages… Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada.
