RRR is one of the rare films that was shot in the beautiful locales of Ukraine, which is now struggling with the war. In the press interaction today, SS Rajamouli recalled the memories when he shot the film there.
He was asked how he felt about the Ukraine war with the fact that some of the portions of the movie were shot there. Rajamouli has said that he was shocked. “I am worried. I was actually shattered with the consequences the war-torn country has been facing due to the war. We have shot a few scenes there. At that time, I don’t the situation in the nation. Only after our return, did I come to know about it. After the war started, I have been in constant touch with the Ukrainian crew. Some of them are fine and safe. I need to get in touch with a few others,” he said.
Apart from some of the combat sequences, the famous Naatu Naatu song was shot there.
