It is well known that yesteryear filmmaker Tammareddy Bharadwaja made light work of RRR’s team by stating that they are spending a lot for Oscar promotions. In an event, he stated that the RRR team has already spent Rs. 80 Crores, and with that much money, they could produce as many as 10 films.
However, this didn’t go well with some industry personalities. Darsakendrudu Raghavendra Rao who is usually a controversy-less man has reacted to those comments. He said that we should be proud of the limelight Telugu actors, Telugu directors, and Telugu Cinema is getting on the international stage. Did the RRR team reveal that they spent Rs. 80 Crores? Or Do you mean Steven Spielberg and James Cameron are praising the film just for the sake of money?
Even Naga Babu has replied to the comments made by Tammareddy. “Does that Rs. 80 Crores come from your pockets?” he questioned in an erratic style.
