The 10th Edition of the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) has announced the list of nominations for Telugu movies. Last year’s biggest hit Pushpa: The Rise leads the pack with a whopping 12 nominations. Pushpa: The Rise got nominations in all the leading departments across cast and crew. Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Akhanda follows the lead with 10 nominations. The other biggest hits of the year Jathi Ratnalu and Uppena have got 8 nominations.
For Tamil films, Mari Selvaraj’s critically acclaimed film Karnan has got 10 nominations. Nelson Dilip Kumar’s Doctor is a critically acclaimed hit last year. The movie has now got 9 nominations. Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Master and Jayalalitha’s biopic Thalaivi managed seven nominations each.
Tovino Thomas’s superhero film Minnal Murali has got maximum nominations with nominations in 10 categories. Roberrt, Kannada film has got a maximum nomination of 10.
