Samantha pinned high hopes on the mythology drama Shaakunthalam. The film was one of the biggest budgeted flicks. However, the collections were dismal. All the involved parties are going to lose big time.
After Shaakunthalam’s release, the director, Samantha, Dil Raju, and others turned silent. Generally, the team will celebrate the movie’s release irrespective of the result. However, in the case of Shaakunthalam, the entire team maintained silence. Now, after six days of the release, Samantha made a post on Instagram. She has chosen a preaching post. She wrote this verse from Bhagavadgita, “Karmanye vadhika raste… Ma phaleshu kadachana… Ma karma phala he tur bhuh…Ma te sangotsva karmani” which can be translated to, “You are entitled to doing your duty alone with no reference to its outcome. The outcome shall by no means be attributable to you. Have no affinity with the idleness.”
Samantha will be next seen in the project Kushi which has Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role.
