We all know that on the occasion of Super Star Mahesh Babu‘s birthday Pokiri special show has been organized across the Telugu States and overseas as well. The response has been amazing and fans had a very good time watching the movie. However, there is a downside to it as well.
Overenthusiastic fans have watched the movie and in the name of enjoyment, they tore the screens, and chairs, and damaged theater property in a few places. Theaters in Kakinada are one of the towns that got affected by the special shows. So, they took a collective decision not to screen any special shows hereafter.
If any theater owner or exhibitor fails to comply with the rules, they will have to pay Rs. 1 lakh as a fine to the association. This will come as a heavy blow for special releases lined up like Gharana Mogudu and Indra. In the entire East Godavari region, the exhibitors cannot screen the special shows. Will the other regions follow this as well?
