Mega Star Chiranjeevi‘s latest movie GodFather has completed its full run at the box office. It is the official remake of the Malayalam super hit movie Lucifer. The movie has collected a distributor share of Rs. 55.80 Cr in its full run which is way below the marketed amount of the film.
Except for a few areas, GodFather was released on the producer’s own. Overseas, the movie has lost around Rs. 1 Cr. It collected a distributor share of Rs. 5.3 Cr and was sold for around Rs. 6.3 Cr. The East Godavari buyer has lost a considerable amount as well so is the Nizam distributor.
GodFather was released for Dussehra weekend. It got decent mouth talk and then the film had a decent first weekend. Then the film lost its steam and finally, it ended up as a flop. Mohan Raja directed the movie.
