Adivi Sesh‘s latest movie Major has been in the news for the past few days. Adivi Sesh has promoted it aggressively by arranging premieres in select cities. The response has been amazing. Major is the story of 26/11 hero Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan and the emotional connection this film has with the audience is high.
Major is releasing on a decent note in the USA. The premieres collections are now standing at $125K. The numbers are going to be even high by the end of the day. Considering that the hero is of mid-range, the opening is good. If the film translates the premiers’ response to the actual theatrical response, then there are high chances that the film will collect more than $1 million overseas.
Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, Major has Saiee Manjrekar and Shobhitha Dhulipala in the crucial roles. Mahesh Babu, Sony Pictures, and A+S Movies have jointly produced this movie.
