Nikhil’s Karthikeya 2 was initially scheduled for July 22nd release. The promotions are planned such. However, Naga Chaitanya’s Thank You which was scheduled for July 8th release initially got postponed to July 22nd to promote the film better. Clashing two medium-budget flicks on the same day isn’t going to do good for both parties.
So, they had a discussion and Karthikeya 2 agreed to postpone the film. Karthikeya 2 is a Pan-Indian attempt. The film might release a day later or will be moved to August. The final decision will be updated in a day or two.
Karthikeya 2 is directed by Chandoo Mondeti. It is the sequel to the blockbuster Karthikeya. Anupama Parameswaran is paired opposite Nikhil in the movie. Nikhil who hasn’t had a release in two years has pinned high hopes on the project.
