Last night Filmfare Awards for the South were organized and it’s a clean sweep for Icon Star Allu Arjun‘s Pushpa: The Rise. The movie bagged the best film award and clean swept most of the awards. Allu Arjun is the best actor for his performance in Pushpa. The film has also bagged best director, best music director, and best male and female singer awards.
Sirivennela Seetha Rama Sastry has been awarded the best lyrics posthumously for the Life of Ram song from Jaanu. Sai Pallavi bagged the best actress award for her performance in Love Story. She is also the best actress (Critics) choice. Natural Star Nani is the best actor (Critics). Ace producer Allu Aravind was honored with a lifetime achievement award. Allu Arjun thanked Filmfare and the judges for the honor.
Suriya’s Soorarai Pottru has swept chiefly the awards for Tamil.
