The other day reports emerged that Rana Daggubati will be making a mythological epic named Hiranyakashyap and Trivikram Srinivas is going to write the script for the project. The news was announced by Rana Daggubati himself at the ongoing Comic-Con event. Rana Daggubati further stated that his production house Spirit Media will produce this lavish mythological drama.
A few years back, many would have known that Gunasekhar has announced making Hiranyakashyap with Rana Daggubati in the lead role. For many reasons, the project didn’t materialize and now Rana’s announcement took the headlines.
In this view, director Gunasekhar has posted a cryptic tweet in which it seems like he is giving a warning. The director posted, “While making God the central theme of your story, you must also keep in mind that God keeps an eye on your integrity. Unethical acts will be answered through ethical means.”
In one of the past interviews, Gunasekhar said that the Hiranyakashyap story was conceptualized by him and it is not integrally correct to take the story away from him.
