Megastar Chiranjeevi’s latest outing Bholaa Shankar turned out to be one of the biggest disasters ever in the history of the Telugu Cinema. After a poor weekend, Bholaa Shankar dropped on a heavy note. The first Monday collections were one of the most embarrassing ones for Chiranjeevi. Even on the Independence Day, Bholaa Shankar couldn’t add much.
At the end of five days, Bholaa Shankar’s Worldwide collections stand at Rs. 24 Crores. The theatrical rights of the movie were valued at Rs. 79 Crores which means the movie will at least face Rs. 50 Crores loss.
Producer Anil Sunkara went for his own release for the majority of the areas which means the Agent producer went into deep turmoil. Bholaa Shankar is the remake of Tamil film Vedalam, the remake which no one asked for. Tamannaah Bhatia is the female lead and Keerthy Suresh played Chiru’s sister in the movie. Mahati Swara Sagar composed music for the movie. Meher Ramesh directed the film.
