Icon Star Allu Arjun has created some history. Allu Arjun became the first Telugu actor to win the National Award as the best actor. The National Film Awards for the year 2021 have been announced. The films that completed the censor formalities in 2021 were eligible for the awards. As said, he is the first Tollywood actor to win the prestigious award. Allu Arjun won the award for his stellar performance as Pushpa Raj.

RRR won multiple awards in several categories including stunt choreography (King Solomon), Best Male Playback Singer (Kaala Bhairava), Best Music Director Background Music (MM Keeravani), Best Special Effects (Srinivasa Mohan), and Best Film providing wholesome entertainment.
Devi Sri Prasad won the Best Music Director award and Uppena won the Best Telugu Film Award. Chandrabose won the National Award for best lyrics in the movie Kondapolam.
