Prabhas starrer Adipurush has posted massive numbers in its first weekend. The movie has collected more than Rs. 100 Crores gross from the Telugu States and in Nizam alone, Adipurush collected Rs. 29 Crores share. This makes Adipurush the second-best opener ever.
The film has received severe backlash from some of the communities and they are trolling the modern take of Ramayana. Still, the film is managing decent numbers. In Hindi, the film collected Rs. 100 Crores nett in its first weekend. This is another big number from a Non-Hindi hero.
This proves that Prabhas can pull off Pan-Indian projects even with an average talk. Adipurush collected 2.5 million dollars in the United States combined of the Telugu and Hindi versions. While the collections over the first weekend are promising, the film can’t be declared a blockbuster due to the high costs involved. Adipurush needs to collect decent in the coming two weeks. Om Raut directed the film and Kriti Sanon is the female lead.
