COVID has struck its chord once again. The third wave has started in India and restrictions have started big time. Almost all the movies have been postponed. Many Pan-Indian movies have been postponed indefinitely. Currently, there are restrictions in Andhra Pradesh. There is a 50 percent seating restriction in theaters and night curfews have started.
With the exponential rise in COVID positive cases, the Telangana government might impose the restrictions as well. So, many biggies that are in line for release in February are thinking to postpone their movies as well. Acharya, starring Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan is the latest movie to get postponed.
Though not announced officially, Acharya is more or less postponed indefinitely. Earlier, it was scheduled for release on February 4th. Koratala Siva is the director of the film and Matinee Entertainments in association with Konidela Productions has produced the movie.
