Prabhas’s mythology drama Adipurush is one of the most trolled films a few months back. Cut to the present, it is one of the much-anticipated projects in recent times. In these few months, the tables have turned positive for the makers. The advance bookings of the movie are certainly above the mark. While the pre-bookings are superb in the Telugu States, it is very good in North India as well. In Karnataka too, the advance bookings are decent.
However, in Kerala and Tamil Nadu, they are a bit slow. Nevertheless, Adipurush is expected to take a bumper opening at the box office. Adipurush hasn’t been promoted at all by the makers. Apart from a pre-release event and a trailer launch event, nothing much has happened from the promotion’s point of view.
Having said that, Adipurush is sold for exorbitant prices all over. For the entire South region, the film was sold for Rs. 175 Crores. People Media Factory has completed the deal. For the North and overseas, the production company has gone for its own release. Overall, Adipurush needs to collect close to Rs. 300 Crores to be considered a hit film.
