Ustaad Ram Pothineni’s recent outing Skanda which was a full-on mass entertainer hasn’t received to positive reviews. However, Skanda opened well with Ram getting his highest day one with this movie. Skanda on the second day has a drastic fall by almost 50 percent. It could be understood that the second day was a working day.
But the third-day collections didn’t pick up even if it was Saturday. There was another 10 percent drop. The three-day collections stand at Rs. 14.60 Crores which is not sufficient. Skanda needs to pick up on Sunday and Monday. The only positive factor is that the Monday is a public holiday. We have to wait and see how Skanda will turn out. The film needs to collect Rs. 44 Crores to be a safe venture.
